Tasks not syncing

Have had HTC One X and used the inherit Task to sync with my google tasks. I got a new HTC One X after my first one broke, but it will not sync my tasks or even show them on the device. Yes, I have my accounts synced and yes I have made sure the checkbox is checked to enable syncing.

Now, I keep getting an "Unfortunately, Tasks has stopped" every time I try to add a task.

Any one else having the same problem?
