I sometimes experience high temps from the battery when I use the phone from moderate to heavy usage. With the battery widget I notice that temps go to like 42 degrees C.

Does this get better over time? I have only charged my batteries like three times since the phone was purchased on Saturday.

Thanks

Well, that's only 9 degrees higher than your body temp (i.e. 107.6F). Doesn't seem too bad.

But, yes, this battery sometimes does get hot with heavy use.

With that said most smart phones or cell phones for that matter get hot with heavy use, wouldn't worry about it unless it gets like really hot.

When Playing Angry Birds on my old EVO I often got the over heat warning on screen. You will get an over heat screen if the phone gets to hot and the phone will shut down so its part of the plan they know this can happen.

I guess I am just noticing this phone heat up more than my droid 2 did. That phone would get hot too after extensive use + running lots of apps.

I will probably get a silicon cheapo case to protect my hands.
