TB GPS Issues

I am having intermittent GPS problems. Sometimes it locks right away, sometimes it takes 20 seconds, sometimes, it never does. I saw in another thread where some people had the same problem, but seem to fix it after installing the new version of Google Maps. This apparently didnt work for me, because that was one of the first apps I installed. Is anybody else experiencing these same problems?

how do you clear the cache? my gps will not lock on yet

still not a big difference. But i have noticed that being inside somewhere severely drops the performance of the GPS. More than any other phone I have had. And it's not very fast at continually updating, like using the 4square app.
Example: I can do a refresh on the places around me, then drive a few blocks up the road and do a refresh again and it still shows the same places and the same address down at the bottom for my location.

Menu --> Tools --> Manage A-GPS state --> Reset

to update,i think the GPS status and update app has helped out alot. as long as i am not inside a building, it gets a lock fast, like when i go into Google Maps. The refresh problem seems to be with the 4square app. the GPS has no problem at all keeping up with my location in Google maps.
