TB users who came from ATT iphone

Does the TB merge calls and let you drop them like the iphone on AT&T did?

Does it let you get a phone while your already on the phone and merge the calls?

Yes, it works very similarly. I switched from the ATT iPhone and am loving that I left Apple.
