From a business standpoint, LG usually makes money selling low end or mid range phones, probably more than flagships. The premium version might not sell well in the US so they probably won't sell it here. LG is well known from prepaid carriers like Metro PCS, everyone else doesn't know about LG.
I really don't understand. You'd think it'd keep cost down for production if they made the same model for all.
With that said I could care less. I'll choose a phone in the market I live in to replace my dated MXPE and I'll enjoy that phone. I'm not gonna sit and complain that China, Korea or Russia may have different specs.
I agree. The quad DAC is one of the main reasons I bought a V20.My only real concern is the HIFI DAC. I don't care if its different as long as it includes it otherwise I'll stick with my V20
All indications list an improvement in sound system from the V20 but hasn't said much else. It might drive me bonkers knowing there is an even better sound system than the regular V30 if US doesn't get it.
I don't buy that people won't buy it here. If they made one high end model and charged just a little more they could still make a ton of money. Ram is not that expensive and neither are wireless charging coils.
From Pocket-Lint on V30 plus:
"It is a larger model designed to go head to head with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - expected to be unveiled next week, on 23 August - but unfortunately there are no plans for it to come to Europe or the US"
Limited info trickling out but Ive yet to find anything saying it will come to US. Bummer
