OK so I just bought my new Acer a100. Sweet, I got a dual core with a gig of ram. I'm looking at the tegra zone and see a few new games that look freaking awesome. The screwed up part is that we won't be able to play these new games because they can only run on the tegra 3... even though there's only ONE tegra 3 device on the market right now! I really feel like I'm getting screwed. I mean, I know technology is quickly phased out but seriously ... only a few months and were already left out in the cold? These developers should really start making multiple versions of the games for the different device capabilities (like Infinity Blade did with IOS). There comes a point when there's no use in buying crap, especially when it won't support apps in 3 months. This is just very frustrating, makes me wonder why the hell I bought this tab in the first place.

You just bought an A100. Did you research it before you purchased it? Even if you are slightly tuned into the tech world, you should have known what you were getting into. There is always buzz about the "next generation" of devices, so not knowing is not an excuse. Technology in general moves quickly. That's just the way mankind is.

The good thing about technology is that you can minimize your loss by keeping it in pristine condition and selling it quickly. If you really want to play the next generation of tablet games, you'll need the hardware. Sell your A100 when you find a Tegra3 device you'd like.

Yeah, that's the plan depending on what the tegra 3 tabs prices are like.
