I downloaded the Samsung Tectile App but is no Car Mode as shown on most videos. Anybody know why?

I don't know why, but you can download NFC Task Launcher. It has a setting for car dock.

Try nfc task launcher, its free in the play store. I hear the Samsung Tectile app is missing a lot of functions.

Will Samsung tectiles work with NFC Task Launcher?

They do. I have been using TecTiles with the NFC Task Launcher app for some time. Works great.

From what I can tell, you can toggle settings, but not set a specific profile with Samsung Tectile App. This means that if your Bluetooth is off, you can toggle it on when you tap car tectile. You can toggle multiple settings if you like - maybe toggle wireless too. This all works great...IF you always do the same thing...i.e. turn Bluetooth on, Wireless off when you get into car and turn Bluetooth off, Wireless on when you get out of car...can use one tectile in car to do that. The problem is that it only TOGGLES the setting, so if your Bluetooth and Wireless were both on when you got into the car, it would turn them both OFF.

It is my understanding that NFC Task Launcher can activate a profile (ex:Bluetooth on, Wireless off), regardless of whether they are on or off when you tap the tile. That is what I want to do,and I will be downloading NFC Task Launcher presently to try and do so.
