One option which would be an improvement on my nexus 5 would be if I had an incoming call while driving I could answer and put it on speakerphone in a single movement rather than answering and then trying to find the speaker option which can get fairly dangerous. Could Google fix this?

Of course - they write the code. Will they? Probably not. But an app developer might be able to, if there's an API in Android to enable the speakerphone. Just add it as an option to a drive mode app. Or even Tasker - if there's a hook that Tasker can use to enable the speakerphone. (There are a lot of Tasker addons - one of them may have something for it.) Then if the phone is the foreground app, the speakerphone is enabled. You'd also want a Tasker app (there's an addon to do that) to turn that Tasker function on and off.

Thanks I found an app called car mode which promises to do it as long as I remember to turn it on when I get in the car.
