I really need a case and have been searching the internet for a good one.

I saw some called the innocase II that look to be pretty good, but are getting mixed reviews.

Just wondering what you guys think.

And also, if not the innocase II, what case would you recommend?

Thanks!

It's okay... For $10.00, it does it's job. Only problem is it becomes a bit more unpocketable in tight pants... but I don't wear tight pants, so not a problem for me... but might be for you.
But it adds a nice touch and acts as a nice grip. The back looks stylish.
And of course, protection is good.

It depends on what you want the case to do, bullet proof the phone - not innocase, protect from minor falls, then innocase is the one. I use an innocase on any and all phone that I buy.

I have the Innocase Surface II and I have to agree it is Ok protection, but it gets loose after a short while.

I am currently using the Seidio Active Case. It adds a fair amount of weight and bulk, but it feels very sturdy and provides great protection.

If you're looking for something that doesn't add much bulk I've had good experience with the Case Mate Barely There case. I haven't seen the EVO one specifically, but I have seen plenty of the Blackberry ones and they seem like a good basic case that doesn't make the phone bulky or anything like that.

I want my case to be tight.

None of this loose-fitting crap.

But I also want it to be subtle.

None of the big, bulky battletank armor looking stuff

I had a body glove and the part over the volume was so thin. it would bend and creak when I touched it. it would get under my skin when it happened. I couldn't stand it. the rest of the case was tight and solid, but that part over the volume was a deal-breaker for me. it was horrible, so I returned the case.

I'd also rather have one with just a little bit more grip.

btw, about the silicone cases...

I have an ipod, and I bought a silicone case from ebay that was around 5 bucks or something.

I know you get what you pay for, but man, it sucks

I hate it. it's stretched out a bit at the top from when I put it on. the hole for the talk button(though there's no talk button on the ipod, though they advertised the case for the ipod) is off-center and the feel of the case isn't nice.

it is a constant dust and lint collector, which is about impossible to get off the case once on.

I'm guessing it sucks because it was five bucks...and that the innocase(and other company) silicones are a lot better

but I just can't shake off the feeling of that one on my ipod :(

try the barely there by case mate, or the talon hard case on the android central store. they both like they fit good and aren't bulky. again, i have no personal experience with either one (and was actually hoping to hear from somebody with the talon case).

I'm just as particular as you are with cases. I usually buy like 3 or 4 cases for a phone when I get it before I decide on one.

I checked out the barely there ones...they're "coming soon" for the evo...who knows how long that will be :( ...same for the otterbox ones.

just checked out the talon hard shell...hey, not bad! and only 9.95

I'm going to try to find some youtube vids on it for the evo :)

the otterbox cases will be bulky, though. most likely they will fit perfect and you will have no problems with them (i've never had one returned, ever, for anything, and had no problems with any of mine) but they are not small cases.

unfortunately sometimes you have to wait for good cases from the better brands. I would think they are trying to get them to market as fast as possible.
