Terrible Battery, trying to narrow it down.

I've been trying to figure out why my battery life is so short, even bought a new battery thinking that would help but it didn't. It's a 3rd party battery so maybe it's just no good but before i go buy another one, i want to see if there is anything i can do to actually diagnose my problem.

I charge my phone 3 times per day. If it's a rogue app, i don't know how to tell what it could be other than checking my battery usage but I never see a weird app using battery, just google, system, screen... i've attached some screenshots, maybe that will help narrow it down a bit
Thanks in advance!

Ok so just to give you an idea. Here are two more screenshots, 10 minutes apart. Screen brightness is at 48%. I cleared EVERY open app and just browsed pinterest the entire time and you can see how far my battery is draining: down 11% in 10 minutes... It isn't specific to Pinterest though, I'm down another 9% just typing this (so 42% now) what is happening?

How low do you normally drop the battery before charging, and how old is it?

Thanks for your reply !

I usually charge it when it gets to 40-30% unless I'm about leave my office or home (In which case I charge it no matter what it's at, even at 80%).

I bought the phone in July '15, I used the oem battery for 2 years. This battery is 1 year old (as of last week) but it's never really been much better than it is (or better than my oem one was at the time). Its a TQTHL 3500mAh Replacement Li-ion replacement that I got from from Amazon.

I keep seeing people posting on forums about their g4 batteries lasting 2 days or longer with SOT of 5-6 hrs... And I just don't see how, as my SOT is typically about 1hr or less. Today I turned Wi-Fi off while at work and got to 1'48" with 13% battery right now sooo improvement I guess, still going to have to charge it for the 3rd time today in just a few minutes though. No video streaming, only game is words with friends, just online browsing for a few minutes at a time and maybe Pinterest for 10 minutes or so. Otherwise, it's been sitting on my desk with the screen off

Snunicyler - I too can not get through a full day on one battery. I have 4 of them - my wife has 3. I just rotate & carry a spare or two (or 3) with me. I hardly ever charge my phone - when it gets low - I just stick another battery in. Of course I have chargers on my desks, through out the house & in my vehicles. Swapping out batteries usually even works on trips but it also prevents my phone getting hot which is a problem with G4's & v10's.

Batteries are not too expensive & neither are battery chargers. I like this option better than having my phone connected to a wall charger or running around with it connected to a portable charger.

Having a phone that can have the option for replaceable batteries is why I have & will continue to use the G4 & v10 & maybe a v20 someday.

The percentages look reasonable. Just not the actual power drain.
My G4 certainly was doing better than yours. :-(

My mind starts to get a little hazy with how I was extending the battery life.
Given the big beautiful screen, turning down the brightness is a must.
Try turning off the GPS system when you don't need it.

How good is the cel signal strength at work? If it is bad, the phone will be using power to boost the signal. In that case, see if wifi-calling is an option for you.

Ok that helps, I kind of assumed the battery might just be kind of crappy and drains faster than it should. My screen is pretty much always at 40% unless I'm outside. Service at work is ... Ok. But my office is next to an electrical room that can mess with data a bit, though cell service is 3 bars most of the time.
