Terrible Lag on Samsung Galaxy Note II 16GB

I have deleted all of my photos and videos and most of my music. I have also uninstalled most of my apps to see if that helped, it didn't. The problem just started a month ago. If i try to take a picture, it takes over 5 seconds for it to respond, and then another 5 or more to view it in the gallery. Not to mention other apps that take ages to open.

I am using the 4.2 version of software. From what i have read i don't want to upgrade to KK, it is not available to me here in Australia yet anyway.

Any ideas would be great.

No I haven't and I am not sure how to do that. Would you mind explaining it to me? I am somewhat savvy

clearing cache is what you do when you think you may need to reset the phone. it's a far less painful procedure and often fixes anomalies. glad it resolved your issues.
