Terrible reception

So my friend got his thunderbolt and is getting 120 dbm all the time at his house. Anything I can do to fix that? He had bad reception with stock rom and now hes on CM7 with updated radios and still terrible reception!

Recommend purchasing a Network Extender from VZW.
