1) that is a QHD screen, 4K would be a lot higher density
2) Looking at the DPI value (which is a scaling factor, not a measure of pixel density), the screen size will be in the low-mid 5's... 5.1 to 5.5

So those devices.... one of them is a Nexus 6-sized device, the other two are in the mid to low 5's... One a Moto, the other a Droid?

That's my guess.

The guy did correct himself. That 4K mention was nothing more than a typo. If this is true then my guess is that one of the devices will be the 2015 Moto X and the other is the next Droid phone. Prototypes non the less.

Since Verizon will be last to deliver it can't be much longer if its in testing right now. They are pushing the heck out of the 2nd Gen X at $$200 off.

Good stuff - I'm eye balling this one to see the specs. I really enjoyed the Turbo - lets hope this one has a better camera.

Last to deliver?

Remember how they were last to deliver updates on the OG Moto X? By "last" I really mean "first"

Verizon hate will always be strong

Ry actually uses Verizon so the hate isn't as strong as you think with him ;). Also all carriers have been late, or first, at some point.

Oh I know. I don't post often but I do remember him from previous Nexus/Moto X discussions lol

I couldnt imagine how much more battery a 4k screen would use, and i wouldnt want one. I still kind of believe that on smaller devices its pointless.. my turbo has the qhd and to be honest i would trade it for 1080 just for the extra battery.

Also hope the droid stays at 5.2. Because if it becomes a note sized phone, its going to be close to note price

I really am looking forward to seeing what the new motos are like this year..

I would love to see the return of the 1080 screen. No need for a 1440 screen at all. 5.5" 1080 screen with a 4,200 mah battery would be a killer combination that could potentially last all day heavy usage. I can see 6 hours screen on time with that.

1080p 5.2" 3500+ mAh would be perfect IMO ... that'd last me all day easily

And I wouldnt even mind it if the phone was 2mm thicker. That's about the size of a credit card thickness.

It's like a battle to make people carry around cables and batteries.

Even though processors has gotten better, I don't think cutting down phone size to sacrifice size is important. I think the next company to come out with a 4200mah battery, 128GB memory, 20mp Sony sensor, 5.5" screen 1440 screen could overtake the note4's sale. I would love to see a 1080 screen but people buy what's top specs even though it doesn't matter on certain items.

you might've just described the Note 5! I don't mind a sealed battery personally, but it better be 3500+ minimum

But its the Note series. The note4 hasnt been rooted for ATT and VZW that I know off except the developers edition which I assume would be the same for the Note5.
