tethering and hotspot

Has anyone found a way to fix the tethering issue with 7.0? I'm on the LG Stylo 2. I know most results I come up with require me rooting my phone but dont want to go through the process. Is there an alternative fix?

Check with your carrier on the costs to enable the hotspot feature. There's no other way around that (aside from rooting).

Again, it depends:

Did you buy your phone though a carrier? if so they might have disabled the functionality.
Did the feature work before an update, and then the update broke it? then your best bet is to wait for another update to fix it. If you bought your phone though a carrier, then you can complain to them.
