Tethering in Infrastructure Mode?

I would like to use my SF to wireless teather to my Nook Color.

Can someone tell me what is the minimum to do?

1) Obtain SF (haha)

2) root

3)?

4)?

I know the answers are in here, but with so many different roms, kernels etc, well I'm really lost.
