I am spending a week at a house with no wi-fi. Fortunately it is in a LTE location and I have unlimited data. My Rezound is stock. Are there any apps I could use to tether to my macbook without rooting? I could use usb or wi-fi.

Not sure about connecting a Mac, but Foxfi should work for you...works with a PC

FoxFi does NOT work on the Rezound with ICS.... unless you are rooted..

I use easy tether on my PC... Not sure if it works on a Mac... Also there is PDAnet which also works.

Foxfi does work on the rezound without root but only thru Bluetooth. I would say use pdanet thru the USB wire.

Thanks, I am going to try pdanet first. Is the free version adequate? Don't mind buying the full version if that is needed or better.

I have a mac book and foxfi does work with my stock rezound via bluetooth.

I have taken the OTA also and I am now liking into WiFi tethering if at all possible. If I acquire root will WiFi tether work thru foxfi? I can't seem to find good instructions for this. Thanks!
