Tethering?

I have the one x. Looking to get a new tab and cant decide what one yet. Also thinking about switching to the att share plan with all data n talk. Would I beable to tether off my phone to a wifi only tab or should I get a tab with the both?

You would be able to tether your one x to any wifi device weither it be a tablet, computer, ps3, xbox or what have you. Now if you want to pay for it or not is up to you..... Me I prefer not to pay twice for my data.

I have the international version, and. At&t can't even tell when I'm using tethering.
That's the problem with carrier phones. They build in so many traps.

But the shared plan has its attractions. You need a more expensive tablet because you would ideally like it to have a sim, so you don't have to use two devices.

It depends on how often you expect to use the tablet out of wifi range. For me, that is very rarely.
