text by voice

So my question, before I go and by the X today, is say I'm driving, and I want to send a text by voice. will it send it for me, or do I have to touch the screen? I ask this, because there was talk on this forum about how you had to touch the screen, and now I cant find that thread. I drive truck, and have an inline mic, with the phone in a holster, so I need total voice control. Thanks

oh, that is a deal breaker, sound dumb, I know but I can't drive truck and touch my phone at the same time. mannnnnnnnn, that sucks!!!!

Thats what I like, and one of the only things, I liked about Siri, even though she could never understand what I was saying half the time.
