Text Jumping

I often get a weird case when I am texting on my MT3G Fender Edition where the cursor just jumps to either a previous conversation or to a different area in the text box. Its real irritating. Anyone else experiencing similar texting anomalies??

No one experiencing this? It's driving me nuts. You'll be typing away and all of a sudden it will jump wish I could capture a video of it but it doesn't happen all the time.

Figurd it out. I was able to duplicate the behavior by shaking the phone. Turns out that by having the. Vibrate on key touch turned on it was causing the cursor to jump. Since I turned it off, no more jumping! Now just worried maybe the accelerometor is bad.

Probably... I had the same issue with my phone and it got so bad and disruptive that I had to contact T-Mobile several times about it and concluded that my phone was, as the salesman/rep so kindly put it "messed up and not fixable." So try to contact them for a replacement...

Mine is doing it even with the vibrate turned off. I figure its a problem with the trackball? Oh well, guess I can wait until the myTouch 3g Slide comes out!
