So, if the text msg center is full, will that mean the phone will no longer send or receive msgs? And if so, how the heck can I tell when its full besides the ability to send and receive msgs stops? The reason I ask is because I had an issue today Where my nexus 4 decided to stop sending texts. It was frustrating because I was busy all day and didn't realize nothing was going through. All my msgs kept saying sending...sending...I then deleted some msgs in my msg center and I was able to resend most.

How many text messages do you have stored? I've never received that message on any device I've ever owned.

Well, the thing is, I never received any msg either. I'm just assuming that the reason why my text msgs failed to send is because it could possibly be full. I think its unlikely as I've never had issues with full text msg memory on my lumia 710, and that thing had a lot less storage than the nexus. Out of 8 GB storage I have like 6 GB remaining.

I don't *think* it's actually possible for the texts to get "full," and I've never heard of that. Are you sure you had signal? Mobile data? Did you stop the app or restart your phone?

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Android Central Forums

I dont think think the text message can be full. you can receive and send message as long as there is space on your phone.
i think there is a problem with your carrier.

Yes, positive I had a good-very good signal. I had four recipients that had sending...sending... Its maddening! Lol. And I made zero changes to apps or settings. It seems that I have regular problems like this, text msg wise.

I've been with my carrier T-Mobile for over 5 years and have never had issues with sending/receiving msgs. My lumia 710 I had for a smidgen over a year without text msg problems.. My fiance too has a 710, and we are both on a family plan and have been for over 5 years, and she has not had any text issues. I'm 110% sure its a N4 issue. I'm just praying that when I receive my replacement I don't experience this issue anymore. Its getting tiring troubleshooting every couple of weeks.
