text message delivery (DX)

I just switched from BB Tour to the DX and I'm so glad I switched!! Now I have a questions regarding text messaging.

On my BB it use to tell me when my text message was delivered to other Verizon users. Can the DX show me if my text message has been delivered? If so, I can't seem to find it..

If you mean that it showed the little "D" next to the text time that it was delivered (to VZW members only), I don't think the DX has the functionality. Just the sent time

That is one little thing I really missed switching to Android. My dumbphones and Storm 1 all had this 'feature.'
I guess we can't have it all though, right?
Oh, and, i doubt it offers any help in our situation but there are settings that notify you when MMS are delivered(or opened, i can't tell which; I actually think it is the latter).

Edit: DInc btw, so it could be possible Sense is a little different.

you can request a delivery report in the settings on your messaging app, but its nothing as subtle as on the BB
