Text Message Pop Up- Group Message

I've noticed that if replying to a group text message using the pop up window the text is only sent to the last responder in the thread. Anyone noticed this or found a way to fix it?

I've used the pop up (appears at top of the screen for me) to reply to individual messages. Works well. Next time I get a group text, will try it out and see what happens; although it may be awhile as I'm not in too many group SMS/MMS text threads. Usually use Hangouts for that as it works well for the participants who are on iOS and Android.
