Text message with photos

[Android Central Question]

I am unable to receive texted photos from my husband. We are on the same phone plan, and both have android phones. I have the S20 and he has the S10. I get photos from other people, as well as the others on our plan. Plain text messages come through fine, but if there is a photo, I just get a gray box with the download size that never comes through. Its just weird that it is just him and no one else. Any ideas?

Which SMS app is he using?
Which SMS app are you using?
How big in bytes is the photo he is trying to send?
