So I've setup my 10 for the fingerprint scanner and also the Smart Lock so it never locks at home, work, or in my car. With my m8, anytime I would get a text and the phone was asleep, it would show the notification on the lock screen for about 10 seconds and then turn off. If I wanted to click the notification or swipe up in a smart lock zone, it would not require me to enter my pin.
That's how I assumed this phone would be but it's not. Anytime I'm at home and get a text, it instantly wakes up the phone to the home screen, and also stays awake for the 1 min that I have my screen back light setup for. I don't want this because one, it's wasting battery if I don't look at the text, and two, if it's in my pocket, I've found that by rubbing against my leg it will randomly open apps, or by my reaching into my pocket my hands will open apps.
So am I missing a setting somewhere? The phone shouldn't be fully waking itself up, it should go to the lock screen but not require me to unlock, just swipe up or tap the notification.
