Text Messages Getting Cut Off

My received text messages keep getting cut off and won't receive the rest with the default app and every other text messaging app. It does this randomly.
Does anyone have a fix? My phone is unrooted with ICS, which I wish I never updated.

Try using Textra as your messaging app.
