"Text Messages not sent" error .. but they were sent! Help

Hey all ... Can't find anything on this issue but every time I send an SMS it sends fine BUT I get an error in the notification bar that says "Messages Not Sent". When I pull down the notification tray it says "4 Text Messages not sent Tap here to view messages". I tap the notification and my messages are clear. It's almost like I have 4 outgoing SMS texts that are waiting to send but have not been sent. My incredible had a "drafts" area but the X does not seem to have the same. Anyone run into this without me having to do another factory reset (I had the no ringing on incoming calls problem already).

are you using any kind of messenger app(chomp, handcent)?

I guess no one else has seen this and I am going to have to do another F'in factory reset. This makes me question my decision to go from the Incredible to the X. Granted I feel Moto has superior hardware to HTC but the software side to me is EASILY on HTCs side!!! HTC please put out a 4" - 4.3" screen Android 2.2 device with Sense for VZW and I'll buy it tomorrow!

I was using SMS Popup and had a few issues where texts would resend for no reason. I also had an issue with a text message not sending today, but I was in a conference room with a signal jammer so that's understandable. I was able to send it again after getting out of the meeting.
