Text messages out of order

does any one experience this. I'll get a text and then a few minutes later a few more before the one I originally got. Out usually only happens with one person frequently so I'm leaning towards their service sucking. Boost mobile.

Are they sending multiple page texts? (texts beyond 160 characters). If so, this happens to me a lot to when someone sends me a multiple page text message. The network doesn't get them in the right order, so I'll get them all jumbled and have to piece it together myself.

No, its not like that. Its a bunch of short texts sent quickly. On after another.

Hmm, if it's only happening with that one person, then I'd say it's a network issue more than likely on their end. Not much you can do about it if that's the case. Except maybe convince them to switch from Boost Mobile

It happens to me all the time with several different people. I have epic 4g on sprint (duh) and it shows the time of the text a few hours into the future.

I have had the same thing happen. from day one. I would be responding back and forth with my wife and every time she would send me a response, it would go to the top of the page...I would need to scroll up to the top of the page.
there are 17 of tests that she sent to me all one after another, then below that are all 18 of mine.
some days it is fine, and some days it is not. we are both on sprint.
she has a palm pre and i have the epic.

I just had it happen again yesterday from another person...he is running an android also---very frustrating when it happens

I used to have that happen to me all the time when I was with Sprint. For some reason when you are roaming, the timestamp registers incorrectly. Since I have been on Verizon, I haven't had the issue.
