Text messages sent from my android are not showing up in group text with other iphones.

I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. I did not have an iPhone before but come from a family that swears by Apple. In my group text with my family, for instance, whom all have iPhones, we find that not all of the text messages I send from my phone show up.

Only some texts seem to go through and only to some people. It's random and selective but and not a reliable way to communicate knowing that not everyone is getting all of my messages all the time.

Other group texts I am a part of with all other iPhone users say that they don't always get the texts I send and that my replies aren't received.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Hmmm....maybe you could try starting the chat since you do not have iMessage? Double check your settings in your texting app and make sure group texting is enabled.

All settings are on and I have tried starting the message to no avail. Group messaging works off and on but with mostly gaps in the conversation, leaving my texts out
