Text notifications no longer popping up on screen

I updated to android 10 yesterday and now when I get a text or phone call the notifications no longer pop up on the screen. I have to pull down the notification bar to see the notification.

Try see if badge notification off and in each app in their settings should be pop up feature to enable

Are you talking about banner notifications? You don't even see the notification icon in the status bar?

No I can see it in the banner but it's the only way to see them. Let's say I'm using Facebook and I get a text. It no longer pops up. I will have to pull down the notification bar to see what the text or call is. It doesn't pop up on the screen

Go to Settings>Apps and select the messaging app, then Notifications. Check to see what priority the notifications have.

When you click on "new messages" under the Samsung Messages app, you should see this toggle.

Also make sure status bar notifications is set to all and not recent 3 ...go to settings on the top search bar type status bar and click all

Try going into recovery clear cache see if that does anything because this is multiple apps that it's happening

Did it and still nothing. This is driving me nuts

I can understand being fustrated ,trust me if it was happening to me I would also , I'm here to try help u solve this and maybe if others experience your issue to chime in .

I can offer another suggestion go to settings then apps >3 dots upper right corner tap it>scroll to reset app preference see if this can help.

I really appreciate you trying to help. But that also did not work
