Text response saying "Undelivered Mail - Return To Sender" - Error Message

Good afternoon everyone,

This is probably going to be a dumb question but here goes.

I am always sending text messages to my personal email address from my phone as an SMS message and sometimes as an MMS message as a reminder to myself for all sorts of things.

For instance, if I find an article on any sort of news outlet or whatnot I will text the link to my email from my "Messages app" on my phone.

I have been doing this for years and never ever had any issues up until about two weeks ago. Now sporadically and even sometimes one after another I will send the text and immediately get a text like this in return below.

"(Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender) This is the mail system at host bbtpnj33wzwvetm-c-nk-x-00-vmg-00.localdomain.

I'"

I can not figure out why I keep getting a response like this because as I said before I have been doing this for years without issue.

Has anyone encountered anything like this or have any idea how to fix this issue?

Currently, I am having this issue on my Note20 Ultra if that makes a difference.

Try sending to a different email to if it's your device or the email itself.

Well I just sent a few to my Gmail account and everything worked as it should and I never got that error message sent back to me. So I'm assuming it may have something to do with my Hotmail account. So I just set it up to forward anything from my number to my Hotmail account so hopefully, that works out.

Could RCS type protocols or upgraded security protocols be the culprit?

I honestly did not even think about that. Another dumb question would be is it something that would already come standard on my Android device or would it have been something added from an update?
