Texting Trouble w/ build & base

Heyllo,

Somehow I got my build and base numbers out of whack. I used the comm rom to root my froyod phone. I have voodoo installed. Could someone give me a brief walkthrough on how to get my build and base the same.

I've heard this can be the cause of no texts coming through and blank texts being received by those I am texting.

My build is ED01 and my base Is D101.

I am going to guess that your reference to 'base' means Baseband (radio/modem) - you will need to flash a radio via Odin to your phone - currently there is only one way to get ED01 radio on your phone and that is located here - must follow the entire process..

You can use the EC01 Radio and it will work for you it is located here

EB01 will also work and it is located here

You were right. I am very new to this, but a fairly quick study. I was referring to my Baseband and Build versions.

Thank you very much for your response. It took me a while to find the cause of the bad testing. So, using either of the EC01 or the EBO1 will work with my Froyo and hopefully give me texing back?

Lastly, I can use Odin to flash or will I need to bring up CWM and install from there?

The only way to install these modem/radio files is via Odin.. They do not flash in CWM.

That should correct the texting problem..
