Textra Contact Setting

Hi All - I'm new to Textra and am trying to figure out how to make certain contacts not play a notification when their sms/text comes in. I have their individual contact settings on my phone set to silent but it still plays a notification sound when a text comes in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

It can't be done on a per-contact basis in Textra, but it can be done on a per-conversation basis. Long press the conversation you want to not play a notification and then tap the settings button and pick Notifications. From there you can set it to Silent for that specific conversation.
