Texts showing up on my Gear S2 but not on my phone?

Only have had the gear 2 a week now. This morning I woke up saying I have 11 notifications. My phone had 0. I have text messages 3 days old from clients that are notifications on my gear but completely missing on my phone. Any idea how this is happening. Its not very helpful for keeping track when I'm having to go back and forth between both devices wondering why a client hasn't shown up. It seems to be for text messages only.

Is it a 3G version with it's own phone number or a bluetooth only version?

I'm having this same problem - and also in reverse (showing up on phone but not watch). Also, when I first got the watch and I would delete a message on the watch - it remained on my phone. Now when I delete on watch - it deletes on phone also?? (I have the 3G version and have also downloaded both the app update and the watch update - no change in this issue).

Same problem with my watch. I have noticed that when I get far enough away from my phone and the data plan turns on, I'll start receiving text messages that I had already read and deleted from my phone. The other day, I deleted some of those then they popped back up again. WTF! This seems more like a problem with AT&T and their NumberSync than the phone. My wife doesn't have that problem with her watch. Her messages are always in sync 100% of the time.
