For finally making a great device that hits all the marks. I've had every htc device since the original htc one and since the m7 I've been let down Everytime. You finally nailed the camera, and made a device smooth enough to compete with the best of them. You also priced it well at 599 for preorders and recent coupons. Best Android phone I've used all year and I've used them all including the recent op5 which was an overpriced POS. Thank you!

Nice to see a post like this every now and then. Im an HTC fan so i hope this phone helps them a lot.

First and foremost it shows they have finally figured out how to make a good camera. Every other HTC flagship in the past has been held back primarily because of how lackluster the camera was in comparison to the other flagships. Now that they have figured that out, they can focus on slimming down the bezels of the device and that would be all it would take to really make this an all around best device.

While I dont have one , Yet, I do like to listen to music on my phone.
So i have been past owners of M7 through M10. Ill replace my 10 with the 11 eventually.

The camera on the 10 scored very well in tests and through my usage I agree with those results.

I used my HTC 10 last year on vacation to Ireland and took over 2500 pictures with it and every single picture was as good if not better than most cameras bar the super expensive ones. I have no complaints what so ever with the camera.

I truly hope HTC is going to be on a solid upward swing from now on. It would be nice to have another contender in the Flagship arena.

HTC EVO, 4G LTE, M8, M9, M10, and now the 11. I love this one. HTC is finally going the right direction.

I've tried the U11.

Aside from some niggles like the lack of a built-in headphone hack, this is a great phone.

Sure, it may not have the most forward-thinking design, but the U11 is still quite the looker, backed up by great performance, an excellent all-rounder camera and surprisingly great battery life (a friend of mine mentioned that he managed to eek out an impressive 6.5 hours of on-screen time from his, despite heavy GPS use and working in an area with mediocre-to-poor cellular signal over his work day).

HTC is on the right path, especially after the lackluster response to the woefully overpriced U Ultra.

I got the silver since it looks more like a baby blue. I'm at 5 hours SOT today and still have 30%. Looking like over 6 hours SOT is gonna be the norm.

I agree - I had thought that the silver had been a baby blue initially! Glad the battery life is treating you well!

The lack of 3.5mm jack seems a glaring miss. Their last foray in the 3.5 jackless was the G1. Agree on all the good things though.

At first, I too was a tad skeptical about the lack of headphone jack; but upon reflection I'm willing to give the adapter a try. Interesting, though, the different features specific manufacturers dismiss or take away; for varying reasons.

I'm not missing the headphone jack at all. I keep the USonics at home and the adapter plugged into some earbuds at work. The battery is so good that I've yet to run into a situation where I needed to listen and charge at the same time.

Great to hear! Thanks for sharing!

I love this phone. Its snappy, beautiful, and the camera and sound is great. I was actually debating between this and the S8+, but I can't return this. It's too awesome. I'll miss Samsung Pay and the wireless charging but that's it.

Did you switch from an iPhone? I thought I saw you on iMore.

Love love love the sound.

And the battery life is so good I only charge once while asleep so don't need a 3.5mm Jack as listening and charging is not needed.

No jack , TBH I never even noticed it was missing :)

So glad that the sound quality is great for you! So far, I've heard more positive reviews about sound than negative.
