the 0 down is at the signing of the contract?

i am sick of verizon and was looking to switch but dont have suffcient funds right now but i will on the first but i would like to change now so i was curious if the 0 dollars down was at the signing of the contract and the phone?

Welcome to Android Central! You should also know that most carriers will perform a credit check to determine whether or not a deposit will be required to open an account.

I don't know whether or not this will be an issue for you; I just thought it might be something to consider.
