The annual trade-in race

Haven't read through this entire thread but I should be in the running for last place in this race. Dropped my mint condition iPhone off at the at&t store on March 14th and still haven't heard anything. Stopped there this morning with receipt in hand and asked if this was normal and got the excuse that the guy that sends them in was on vacation for a week.. blah blah blah. She assured me that since I have the receipt they'll credit me no matter what, so we'll see🤷‍♂️

Feel sorry for some of you. Drug my feet and sent my phone off way after the 14 day window. Really was after 30 because I requested to return to see if they would offer me something in which they did not lol. Shipped a little over a week ago and just received confirmation that my trade was accepted. Hopefully those of you that have been waiting longer receive yours as well soon for peace of mind.

I did the I want to return phone also and they did give me a $40 refund to keep it. I think that's a hit and miss thing.
 
Update:

I spoke with Samsung Order Support today. As far as I can gather (communicating was difficult), the crew that receives and processes the trade-ins SOMEHOW thought I was trading in a Fold 7 instead of a Fold 6. The support person agreed that THEY could not see anything wrong with the Fold 6 in the pics.

The case is in process, and I should hear back within in 24 hours, give or take.

Everything points to the trade-in amount getting reinstated.

Fingers crossed.

You should be good. Their support is usually good about things like this. Glad to hear there was nothing wrong with your trade in. I'm sure we were all confused on the issue because clearly your phone looked passable from photos posted .

It was worth a shot. I received an incredible deal when pre-ordering (double points redemption and 200 from CapOne portal) so I can't complain although they charged me a restocking fee lol.

You absolutely have to try. They've told me no before also. I don't try every year as dealing with Samsung customer service is a pain.
