What is the best way to sell my Note? FB yard sale, Craigslist, eBay? I just want to get the best deal since it's not even a 2 month old phone

We have done well with selling phones on Craigslist. You have to be careful and vet your customers before meeting up with them.

Why selling?

Apple just doesn't great job of sucking you into their universe. I know all in all, texting, videos, etc work fine between Android and iOS. But it just works better when it's all iOS and that is a huge means of communication. And I feel like I am in Apple valley, honestly. I'm surrounded by apple people. Literally the only person I talk to on a regular basis that has Android is my dad. The rest of my family, my best friends, my kids' friend's parents - all have iPhone. So since I switched, group texting about games, activities, etc - has all been ok but not great. They still text videos instead of sending them another way so I end up with a crappy copy and have to ask it to be resent, etc. Stuff like that. I've loved my iOS devices over the years so I'm ok with it, but man I'm going to miss this phone.

This is what I call the sheep effect. I get it though. I tried to get a bunch of my friends to change to a messaging app that does videos, I got one person to try it. I find that most people don't even need a smart phone, they talk and text, they don't even know half of what they can do with a smart phone, they just want the nice touch screen phone. When I tell them that they can send better quality pictures thru apps such as WhatsApp, they look confused.

iMessage did nothing for me as I'm fortunate enough most the people I communicate with are Android users.

I've done eBay and swappa, swappa seems easier, but both have the same problem, they use PayPal. PayPal is great, but they usually favor the buyer in a dispute. Your sending your phone to a stranger, if they filef a dispute for any reason, usually PayPal will side with the buyer. So be prepared to take the phone back and refund the money, don't run out and spend the money right away or have money to refund if need be. Fortunately I haven't had to go thru that process as a seller, I have as a buyer, and I can tell you it was not hard to get a refund, very little effort was required from me.

I'm the only one in a family of 14 that uses an Android phone. all the rest are iPhone users. I have no problems messaging, group messaging or sending photos or videos. I don't understand the fuss.

You have no problems sending video using the stock messenger program. Sending video thru the carrier via mms does not work, and if you do use the carrier mms, it's compressed, lower quality. iMessage will send video to other iMessage phones.

So how are you sending video thru texting on Android?

I've never had issues sending and receiving videos through stock texting ap with iPhone users

I can't send videos thru stock text app, file to large all the time. I suppose i could downgrade the record quality, but then why get a note 8 if i have to do that.
