Ok, prob not the best place to be asking since everyone here is an Android user and will probably be a little biased... but is the Playbook a good tablet to get? It's price recently dropped and it's got great hardware. The camera on it is good, it's apparently quite fast and has a great screen. The whole Blackberry OS thing doesn't really bother me, since I will be mostly using it for music, web browsing, and games, but I know they are getting a new OS update soon that should add a larger selection of Android apps to it.
Thing is, I'm trying to not spend over $300 and I do prefer the 7 inch screen to the 10 inch, since it will fit in my bag and won't feel as cumbersome.
The other two options I see is the Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7 and Acer Iconia, but these are both more expensive and I don't really see what advantage they have over the Playbook. I am not interested in the Nook Tablet or Kindle Fire since they both seem too locked down.
TLDR; Is the Playbook a good tablet if I am looking for a tablet under $300, that has a 7 inch screen?
