I got one of these today too. This default config thing is very annoying. Come on, Sprint, fix this please!

Well, I am happy to report that the insanity appears to have finally stopped. I deleted all of the Sprint stuff and cleared its caches one last time, rebooted, let Sprint default config download again, agreed to let it install, and finally this time it appears that the software is happy and I have not been hit with a new request again. Hoping it holds true.
