Besides the obvious white notification bar and the camera icon on the lock screen, what are all the new or basic features now on our note 3 with this update?

Well, @kami let me tell you that KitKat update is much more focused towards increasing the user experience i.e why you are seeing a number of tweaks like the camera icon in the lock screen a major change in notification, besides this I am sure that now your device battery is going to last longer than usual another major change can be seen is now your SD card is on the read only mode means you can't write anything on the SD card you can only read the files stored in the SD card.
