The only problem with your suggestions is you MUST have a STRONG 5G signal or nothing works. I bought a S25+ & spent a week trying to make it work. I am in a weak T mobile signal area & it took a day to get dial tone. Everything depends on connecting to google even just trying to use the microphone. After 5 days sometimes it would finally default to wifi. Finally returned it to Samsung & went back to my old S22+ which usually does work in the same location.
Now I am wondering if a Motorola Edge+ 2023 would work here as I don't think it is so 5G dependent. If I am wrong, please correct me.
Thank You

You are wrong.

5G has nothing to do with the phones capabilities. You got a dud or some other unrelated issue. I use mine in places with no signal time to time and have no issues. As to thousands of others do as well.

If I am wrong, that is fine. However I spent many, many hours with both Samsung and T mobile tech support & the consensus they came up with is that with a weak signal the phone would not work in my home location. I would have loved to keep the phone if I could have gotten it to about 75% reliability at home & then be able to use it elsewhere OK.

My bluntness was for comedic purposes based on your last sentence.

T-Mobile has a habit of being let's say, incompetent depending on the team you're assigned to.
For example, which SIM do you have and did they even ask you that? I guarantee you had a dud or have an old SIM but that's here nor there since you returned it. A shame you had issues like that. In the future, provided it was a carrier phone based on your wording, if demand a replacement.

Tried my old sim then shut that off & pulled it out. Then went with an Esim. Still was failing. I know my location has a weak signal for most carriers. I am almost exactly half way between 2 major roads with a cemetery across the street so there are no plans to strengthen the signal here. When I had Verizon , I had a signal booster for 4G/Lte. Put my old sim back into my S22+ & had T mobile re-activate it & I have been using it since,

I can tell you having an eSIM and physical, my eSIM is finicky. Not problematic but has quirks. Nevertheless, check if your physical is an R15. It should be but strangers things have happened

Better luck on the next phone.
