The Fold is not compatible with the Pixel Stand

I was thrilled to get my Pixel 9 Pro Fold today, but after setting it up, I was disappointed to discover it doesn't work with my Pixel Stand charger. I've just learned that the Fold isn't compatible with the Pixel Stand. Seriously, Google? That's a major letdown!

Is that because of the placement height of where the charging part hits the stand?

What better way to sell razor blades and giving away a free razor. Hmmm.. Maybe my analogy is off but, yes, Google gets to sell a new accessory. As well as help all those third parties sell a new accessory.

I think I read that making a small ledge or spacer can place the new Fold into the proper position????

I'm surprised that they did not invent USB D to generate new cable needs!

Already a known issue; the charging connection is lower

I've connected a Spigen magsafe ring to the back of my Spigen case and it works faultlessly; but you can see how low it needs to be
