The problems with this phone are not hardware. The problems are software and UX design. I bought two fives on release date for my wife and I. I now use a razr Plus. The hardware seems very slightly inferior, and I miss the virtual keyboard from Samsung, but the overall software experience is way better and they utilize the cover screen for more than a clock. To be clear you have to install third-party software to even use the cover screen on a Samsung for more than about four apps. The other thing that shocked me is how quick voice input is on the razr compared to Samsung. I had always attributed this to network or something else but it is pure software crap that Samsung pushes. Also, for the record I have four condos across the country that are all smart homes using smart things and Samsung can't even keep their TVs hooked up to their hubs. They're going to go the same way as Sony someday because they aren't investing in software.
