I really want this phone to be great. I'm tired of Samsung but feel like the G6 came up short. I'd also like to see HTC make a comeback.

I am with you. I am ready to buy,but not motivated by the beauty of the Samsung because I know in less than a year it's going to be bogging down and nowhere near as effective as the day I got it.

I am now wondering if the HTC ocean will get my business or I'll have to wait for pixel 2 this fall...

Ideally a 2017 Moto Z would get their act together camera wise... My current Droid turbo is the best phone I've ever used but the camera sucks.

Need HTC and Moto to up their game... Moto also has the best radio... Love the gestures.. Chop for flashlight, etc..

Bottom line, I not signing a two year deal for a galaxy that I know I am going to hate in a year..

I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open in regards to what features this phone has. I just read something (of course have to take it with a grain of salt) that stated it will have dual speakers again I'd like it to have wireless charging and be waterproof, but I don't see the wireless charging happening if they stick with a 100% metal design, which they may not do since the Ultra had a glass back.

I've pre-ordered the S8 for now but I am hoping that HTC can pull out a great phone. They have a spotted history of late in doing this so fingers crossed.
