So we've heard the battery concerns and I was looking at the spec sheet and the N4 will use a lithium polymer battery instead of lithium ion battery used in the iphone and s3. Is there a real difference in these two that could cause battery concerns?

The Nexus 4's battery supposedly has a higher charge cycle life than your standard lithium ion batteries. It apparently has more "charge" per mAh than a standard ion battery also. That's what LG is claiming.

We won't know what the Nexus 4's battery life is like until the general public has their hands on it.

Improved safety - more resistant to overcharge; less chance for electrolyte leakage. I think is the real thing.
