The new update has my phone going crazy

My screen don't cut off, it keeps showing my pictures. Help

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Are you talking about a system update? Do you mean that the screen doesn't go to sleep any more? What's your screen timeout set to?

What do you mean it keeps showing your pictures? Does this only happen when you're using your gallery app, or could it be that a screensaver function was turned on?
