Hi -- I know very little about rooting in general, and have never rooted anything, but have always wondered if it is "undo-able" on the G2? As in, "I've rooted it, having probs, so can I put it all back". I have read there are tools that will back up the current configuration before you root (right?) but is this the only way? Also, if anyone knows any sites that shows more info on this for the G2 it would be much appreciated. I have no plans to do so, but my curiosity has gotten the best of me. Try not to laugh at me too loudly...*thanks*. :o

I am by no means an expert of rooting (havent done it myself). But if I understand it correctly yes you can go back. I believe if you do a factory reset on the phone it erases everything including root. Hopefully this helps or someone with more knowledge can help you.

Hi

Nothing to laugh.I was once a noob too. Slowly but surely you will learn. go to xda.com and you will get everything.

Don't be scared. Rooting will give you the best of your device. Just follow the steps exactly and you should be good. Also I was reading an article today, there are G2's made in China.

PM me for more help if you need...
