I am loving the OP7P. A truly amazing phone. Still some minor software issues here and there, but not a deal breaker for me. The only thing I wish it had was a micro SD slot. If it had that... It would be the perfect phone for me. Still waiting on the Zenfone 6 US release which offers a dual SIM tray and a micro SD slot.

I only had 64GB built in and a 64GB SD card in my previous phone, so no worries about space for me. With 256GB on board, I will never need more storage. I think I'm using 20% with all my apps installed and all my music (like 2500 songs).

We are all different. I love the flexibility of having that option to store more music, movies, videos, media etc on a micro SD card. Now I have to keep a portable SSD with me. A slight inconvenience... Still intrigued by the Zenfone 6 US release.

MicroSD is no dealbeaker tbh, bc. I got the 12/256 version.
What I really would have liked is wireless charging.

I come from the LG V30 and their MIL-STD310g and IP68 rating was fabulous. I filmed under water with it, too (ok, only in our pool :D ), so this would be a nice treat, if only for the peace of mind...

I can do without wireless charging. I wish there was a 512 GB or 1 TB option for phone size since there is no micro SD slot. The lack of IP rating doesn't bother me because water damage isn't covered under any phone with an IP rating. I'm enjoying Oxygen OS. touches are a little irritating. This will do until under the screen camera technology is implemented.

For me if I had to pick between a SIM & microSD or Dual SIM. I'd take Dual SIM any day. Unless of course if they can put all three than that would be perfect. LOL

Personally, IMO 128GB should be the minimum today. In the next few years I expect 200GB or even 256GB.

This is why OnePlus IMO is perfect and best value.

I would say Wireless Charging but their Warp Charger is amazing that it's not needed.

only thing I would add is maybe instead of duel sim tray make phone esim with a single sim tray as back up network.

I love the dual SIM as well, but because of storage limitations I still use two phones...

I had the V30 as well and just replaced it with the 7 pro. I thought I'd miss wireless charging the most, but I really don't miss it. I'm not in love with the curved edges, but at least so far, no ghost touches because of it. I've always been too paranoid to try my phone under water.

It had an always on display
It had wireless charging
It was slightly smaller

not even close....but then again Huawei and Google seem way ahead in the camera department against any phone

I realized how useful REVERSE wireless charging. Now that I'm killing the battery on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Asphalt 9.
