the other person can no longer hear

I have a samsung galaxy six with the latest version of skype and it has been working with no problems but now the other person cannot hear me. I can hear them, they have checked all their settings and cant hear anything on either their laptop, pc or mobile. Have checked all permissions on my phone and they are all set correctly. I am at a loss as to what the issue might be please can anyone help.
