Hello forumers, i just tried running jodin3 trying to switch back from android 7 to android 6 on a samsung s6. I downloaded the firmware for the model but when jodin3 tried to get a pit file, it said mine was corrupted. i downloaded a pit file and put both it and the firmware in the loading window and hit start and nothing happened.
would extracting the pit file from my phone work
do you flash the pit and firmware together or one at a time in jodin3?

1. A pit file is generally not necessary when flashing firmware.
2. If needed the pit file comes with the firmware that you downloaded and will be done when flashing firmware.
3. If you download a pit file separately it has to be specifically for your device
4. Samsung being Samsung you won't be able to downgrade your firmware from 7 to 6 due to bootloader version number.
